Wes performs in a wide range of styles including jazz, bossa nova, soul and pop. His repertoire spans many decades from jazz standards to soul, pop and new originals. He is a dedicated guitarist and vocalist who creates intriguing arrangements with flows of dynamics and mood. Wes received his Masters in Jazz Performance from the University of Toronto in 2021 and has since become a faculty member at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.

A performing musician for the last dozen years, Wes has appeared in six of the last eight Victoria Jazz Festivals. He has recorded multiple albums featuring his original music, with his most recent album "Helium" released by the Wes Carroll Confabulation debuting in May 2024.
